A wise band once said, "in the end we love to spend... get over it"
This course is to teach the fundamentals of how to "Turn anything into everything." We take 3 positions and 5 elements (attitudes) and create a complete, balanced, and holistic practice. I've had rooms full of all levels and types of people, from pro athletes, to children, to elderly people that never work out. Within 15 minutes we will all be able to do 30 minutes of consistent movement while building balance, strength, flexibility, and most of all, holistic awareness. It's kinda cool to be in those rooms. We often learn too much instead of diving deep into what we know. These 5 elements are the essence of how to practice something and get the most out of the simplest movements. Level 2 is about diving even deeper.
Get strong and adaptable!!! 3 pushup variations to make you, and your punches stronger. It will also build your stamina, structure, shoulders, core, and just make the basic push up more fun and practical. Why??? If we enjoy punching, or want to learn self defense, you will not have time to get your wrist wraps or gloves on before you fight back. Wrapping your hands, just as wearing a weight belt, or over supportive shoes can hinder your natural abilities to build structure, thus making us rely on external props to be bad ass... I mean wrist wraps are just fist spanks. I've been a cutman for years, I've wrapped a lot of hands, but that's for competition. In real life though, I would hate for people to think, "You're not so tough without your wrist wraps, cup, fancy tights, pre-workout protein stack, and EDM playlist now are you!?!?"

When practicing keep repeating the poses lightly, pushing the awareness and reminding yourself that: YOGA IS NOT FITNESS With practice all unfolds. Just be aware, feel, and save your ambition for making sports ball.
Yoga means "To Unify", but what does that mean??? We are starting from the beginning. Unifying breath with movement is a simple concept, but you would be surprised at how it all goes out the door when we get into our ambitious and achievement-oriented minds. Simple movementsThe 3 BandhasThen the Sun Salute Let's do this.

What!?! A Shaolin Monk Teaching Qi Gong?!? You're Welcome Internet!!! Here's why this is now available to you and why it's cool. I was hanging out with SHAOLIN SHELDON with the Shaolin Center... (He & I are in Cahoots) I love the way he teaches Qi Gong. He says, "My teacher really just said, Inhale, Exhale" Then I say... "Hey, I learned under a monk and that's all he said too... I Loved it." Come to find out it's the same guy. He ended up squeezing a bit more out of him and the system for your internet pleasure, but remember, just Inhale and exhale. This was also the monk that taught me that "all the forms and fancy moves are here to keep young busy minds entertained while they learn to breathe... Inhale, Exhale. “3 languages available to choose: English, Chinese, Spanish. The Shaolin Ba Duan Jin Qi Gong exercise is effective and simple to learn. Each of the eight movements is well explained as to how it activates the meridian and internal organ to achieve well being and good health.” Elizabeth O. Tse
